Key Products Incorporated is a full service mechanical bindery with virtually boundless possibilities for your binding needs. We have the equipment and expertise to handle any type of binding you can imagine, from the simplest wire binding to sophisticated bindings with fold outs, easels, concealed wire, odd sizes and virtually anything else imaginable. If your binding needs are for proposals, calendars, manuals, flip charts, books or any other printed materials that you want bound together; we can expertly complete your project. The following are the types of binding we can offer to you or your customers.

Double Loop Wire-O Binding

Here are the advantages of double loop wire binding.

Pages turn easily and lay flat
Pages open 360 degrees (folding cover to cover) so you can focus on one page and the book takes up less space
Opposite pages are aligned with each other so that type and artwork are in register from one page to the other
Wire-o is the most durable mechanical binding on the market today.
Artwork on the spine is available with wrap around covers
Standard colors are black, white and silver
Other colors are available
Sizes range from ¼” to 1”

Plastic Coil Binding

Here are the advantages and disadvantages of plastic coil binding.

Pages turn easily and lay flat
Pages open 360 degrees (folding cover to cover) so you can focus on one page and the book takes up less work space
Opposite pages are not aligned with each other so the text and artwork are not in register from page to page
Great for mailing because it is very durable and resists crushing
Standard colors are white, black, grey, silver gold, copper, yellow, orange, brown, beige, Tan, pink, red, burgundy, blue, green, teal, purple, clear, and some florescent colors. Other colors may be available.
Sizes from 6.4 mm to 35 mm

Wire Spiral Binding

Here are the advantages and disadvantages of wire spiral binding.

Pages turn easily and lay flat
Pages open 360 degrees (folding cover to cover) so you can focus on one page and the book takes up less work space
Opposite pages are not aligned with each other so the text and artwork are not in register from page to page
The least expensive of all our binding systems
The lease durable of all our binding systems
Standard colors are black, white, and silver.
Other colors are available
Sizes from 6.5mm to 35 mm

GBC OR Plastic Comb Binding

Here are the advantages and disadvantages of GBC or plastic comb binding

Pages turn easily and lay flat
Pages open 360 degrees (folding cover to cover) so you can focus on one page and the book takes up less work space
Opposite pages are aligned with each other so that type and artwork are in register from one page to the other
Pages can be added or removed
Larger size combs are available with locking tabs to pages secure
Spine screen printing is available for easy identification of contents
Clear combs can be printed with any custom color
Standard colors are white, black, red, blue, brown, yellow and green.
Other colors are available on request.
Sizes from ¼” to 2”

Calendar Tinning

Key Products is one of a few companies that actually offer calendar tinning as part of the overall bindery service package. We can tin single sheet calendars either top, bottom, or both and add a hanging eyelet as well. We can also tin multiple sheet calendars together to make an exceptional binding for your presentation. Binding Accessories and Covers

Key Products has a wide variety of cover materials available to add a distinctive flair to your bound presentation. We have clear, translucent, pearlized, ribbed, and opaque poly materials available that make unusual and distinctive covers. Additionally, we have Pajco which is leather like cover material, vinyl, SBS, Kivar, Linen and even genuine leather available to complete your binding project.

These materials can be decorated in many ways including silk screen printing, debossing, embossing, appliqué, and even four color process printing in larger quantities. Keep in mind, not all materials accept all decorating techniques.
