Vinyl is the most versatile and popular material used to construct binders. Vinyl binders are made by RF frequency, heat-sealing two layers of vinyl film over chipboard. Vinyl binders can be manufactured in many different shapes, sizes, colors, and textures. The size and shape of the binder are created with a tool called a “sealing die.” We have hundreds of these tools made in both standard and custom sizes. If a tool doesn’t exist for the vinyl binder you want, we can build one. Because we have the capability of building our own tools, our tooling fees are less than those of other binder manufactures. A binder constructed of vinyl will also offer the most decorative possibilities because of vinyl’s general versatility. Vinyl Materials

Vinyl is available in hundreds styles and colors. Expanded vinyl is typically .030” thick. This type of vinyl usually imitates leather or a natural skin. Suede and calf vinyl are the most common types of vinyl as view binders are typically made of these materials. There are many different colors of vinyl available in each style. Vinyl Binder Decorations

A vinyl binder can be decorated in more ways than any other binder. Key Products, Inc. can decorate vinyl binders using any one or any combination of the following methods:

Appliqué (a different layer of vinyl applied to the surface of the binder)
Emboss (provides a raised look to the surface of the binder)
Deboss (provides a lower indented area on the surface)
Foil Stamp (provides a metallic area stamped into the surface)
Screen Printing (any combination or color of ink you need printed)
Offset Printing (4 color process for more detailed printing like a photograph)
Clear Overlay (insert your own sheets on the covers or spine)
Entrapped Graphics (printed graphics completely sealed under clear vinyl)
