Paper binders are typically the least expensive and least durable binder available. These binders are made from non woven papers and are similar to poly binders in construction. Paper binders are made by taking the decorated substrate you select and then die cutting the size and shape you desire, scoring, folding, gluing and adding the ring mechanism.
 

Paper binders and usually made from cover weight papers, starting at 14 pt and going up in weight to 26 pt. The paper selected can be smooth or have a texture depending on the final effect you desire. Most paper binders are made from a smooth coated paper to enable offset printing on the outside and allowing for pockets inside. Paper binders can be made with pockets, die cut windows, and business card slits.

Paper binders can be made to order since they are die cut into any shape and size. They can have different pocket configurations and even have capacity pockets or “box” pockets. Here are some examples of different custom binders we have made over the years.

You can use virtually any heavy cover weight non woven paper you desire for making paper binders. The final decorative effect you want is what will determine the substrate you use. These heavy weight cover papers come in smooth coated finishes, linen embossed finishes, felt type finishes, leatherette finishes and many other finishes that will enable you to choose just the right look for your special project.
